Release notes FT-8900 (click BACK to return to the website) Version 2.38 ================================================================== Added message when Sending data to the radio and an error occurs after the header is sent. The message warns that the hardware information in the file does not match the radio. Made changes to make the Get Data From screen appear quicker. Version 2.37 ================================================================== Modified the comm routines for faster computers. Version 2.36 ================================================================== Corrected a problem that might cause the Send Data To function to fail it data is not read from the radio first or the receiving radio is modified. Version 2.35 ================================================================== Corrected a problem with import that caused the names not to import correctly if the name was longer than 6 characters and contained lower case letters. Version 2.34 ================================================================== Corrected a problem that occurred in version 2.33 that would not allow the Setting dialog to open. Version 2.33 ================================================================== Removed Auto repeater shift from the setting screen since this is a setting in the hyper memory channels. Changed the import code to only check the Show Name box if there is data in the column that indicates that it should be checked. Changed the import so TX Power sets the proper value during importing the data. Version 2.32 ================================================================== Display in the programmer of the offset frequency as the transmit frequency in an odd split channel read from the radio Increased the number of Hypermemory channels in the programmer and corrected the labels for the rows. Also, discovered in testing that the RADIO does not truly save Hypermemory information until you hear one long beep that follows the 3 short beeps described in the manual. Without this last beep (that is almost long enough to be a tone), the Hypermemory remains unchanged from the original value and is read by the programmer as such. Be sure to hold the buttons long enough to complete this programming on the radio. The appearance of "out-of-band" frequencies on the left side of the radio after downloading a file from the programmer. The proper appearance of 6m and air band frequencies in the programmer in a file read from the radio Microphone type setting Dimmer setting Auto Repeater Shift option setting Reversal of upper and lower band limits Hypermemory V/V or U/U functionality Com routine changes for this radio.
